Submit Your Story
Read these guidelines carefully before submitting. Submissions that break these rules will be rejected automatically without notification.
Core Requirement: After Dark Tales publishes original adult fiction for readers 18+. Submissions must be completely original, fully finished, and created strictly for adult audiences.
Language & Categories
* Languages: You may write in any language (Hindi, Hinglish, English, etc.).
* Categories: Assign the closest fitting category: Series, Maa Beta, Baap Beti, Devar Bhabhi, Aunty, Jeth Bhabhi, or 18+.
Length & Formatting Guidelines
* Minimum Length: 10,000 characters (approx. 2,000 words).
* Maximum Length: No limit. Long novels and multi-part series are welcome. Mark titles clearly (e.g., Part 1, Part 2).
* Formatting: Plain text only. Use clean, mobile-friendly paragraphs. Avoid ALL CAPS, giant fonts, excessive formatting, tables, or emoji spam.
Strictly Prohibited (Instant Rejection & Ban)
* Any depiction or mention of characters under 18 (minors, school settings, or age-play). This results in an immediate permanent ban.
* Stolen work, retitled copies, or unedited AI-generated text. You must be the original creator.
* Non-consensual violence, bestiality, or extreme graphic abuse as the main topic.
* Stories featuring real celebrities, public figures, or real people’s private details.
* Personal contact numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram, or Instagram handles (only one author email is permitted for reader feedback).
* Promotional links, affiliate ads, spam, or half-finished outlines/notes.
विशेष सूचना (Hindi Note for Writers)
* आयु सीमा: आपकी उम्र 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक होनी अनिवार्य है।
* मूल रचना (Original Work): कहानी आपकी अपनी लिखी होनी चाहिए। किसी दूसरे की कॉपी की गई या AI से ऑटो-जनरेट की गई कहानियां स्वीकार नहीं होंगी।
* सख्त नियम (Minor Ban): कहानी का कोई भी पात्र 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र का नहीं होना चाहिए। स्कूल या नाबालिगों से जुड़ा कंटेंट भेजने पर बिना किसी चेतावनी के स्थायी बैन (Permanent Ban) लगा दिया जाएगा।
* लंबाई: कहानी कम से कम 10,000 अक्षरों (Characters) की होनी चाहिए। अधूरे चैप्टर्स, नोट्स या आउटलाइन न भेजें।
* फॉर्मेट: सिंपल प्लेन टेक्स्ट का उपयोग करें। बहुत सारे इमोजी, बड़े फॉन्ट या ALL CAPS का उपयोग न करें।
How to Submit
- Fill Story Title — the full title, not a hint.
- Choose Category — Series, Maa Beta, Baap Beti, Devar Bhabhi, Aunty, Jeth Bhabhi, or 18+. Pick the closest one.
- Choose Primary Language — the language the story is mostly written in. Mixed stories: pick the one that leads.
- Write Short Description / Teaser — 2 to 3 lines only. No spoilers dump. No whole first scene.
- Paste Full Story Text in plain text. Minimum 10,000 characters. No maximum. No colours, bold walls, or giant fonts.
- Enter Author / Pen Name — real name or alias.
- Enter Your Email Address — so we can reach you if the piece is accepted or sent back.
- Tick the box: you are 18+, you wrote it, and no character is under 18.
- Press Submit Story.

If the form does not work, email the story to editor@after-dark-tales.com
- Subject: the story title
- First lines of the mail: category, primary language, pen name, your email, 2–3 tags
- Then the 2–3 line teaser
- Then the full story in plain text
- Attachments only if the story is too long for the mail body (.txt or .docx). No PDFs, no photos
Do not send a second copy “just to check.” Wait. If we reject it, fix the rule it broke and submit again.

By submitting, you confirm that you are 18+, own full copyright to the material, and accept full legal responsibility for your content. After Dark Tales reserves the right to edit for grammar, re-categorize, or remove submissions that breach policies.
